Hi! I’m Kristen Slack and I love to make things pretty! First of all, if you’re reading this page, chances are you might be needing some help in an area in your home or workspace... well, I’d love to help! I fell in love with interior decorating and design several years ago when my husband and I were remodeling our own home... we lived through the process and I found a new hobby! Before long, we were remodeling another home and I was helping friends pick out bedding or kitchen finishes..or vanities for their bathrooms... or just the right paint color for their walls...and that’s how this little side hustle of a business began. My husband (and two teenage sons) are entrepreneurs, so why not join in and make this a business? The truth is, I love creating spaces for my clients that bring them joy and a sense of peace in their own homes. I believe our homes should feel like a refuge on the tough days-and a warm, inviting place to share with others through hospitality. Our homes don’t need to always feel magazine ready.. but they should feel comfortable and reflect us. I have no formal training... just a gift from God that I try to use to bring beauty to the homes of my clients and ultimately to bring Him glory. Ephesians 2:10 says:”For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” In this phase of my life, I feel like this is some of the good work God is calling me to do.

Pricing and Information
and How it Works...
Initial walk through visit: $200
For my first visit, we’ll walk through your home or area you’d like to focus on, and talk through ideas and projects where you’d like to concentrate. I’ll take lots of notes and measurements and we’ll come up with a plan!
Hourly Rate: $65/hr
Once I begin working on your project, my rate is $65 per hour. This includes all things… shopping, online work, house/project site visits, installs of decor, room layouts, helping you make selections for a larger remodel, etc. I will be efficient and make the best use of my time and your money!
Design Boards: $200
This is a great way to see a design idea come together and to make decisions by seeing all of the colors, textures, and styles together. It takes quite a bit of time to compile all of the ideas and create these visual idea boards (thus the separate price) but they’re so worth it in making your room or project exactly what you desire! They bring the project to life!
Project Manager: 10% of total project cost
Project Management takes a lot of time, organization and attention to detail. If I’m working with you on a remodel where contractors are involved this is a great option for you. It involves setting up a timeline for your project, having a round table discussion with the main players in the process, communicating with them constantly, and making sure things keep to the budget and timeline we’ve agreed upon. In construction there are always surprises of some sort but hiring me in this capacity makes sure the remodel process is as stress-free as is possible. Consider me your advocate in the process.
(Pricing: for example, If a remodel costs $20k, I make $2k in addition to any design work I do for you.This IS NOT included in the contractor’s pricing or billing… it is separate.)
